McKean Defense Group has secured a potential five-year, $21M contract for logistics, engineering and technical services for the ships of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division.
The company said Monday it will analyze the ships’ propulsion steam systems, air conditioning, ventilation and other systems.
Services will cover systems aboard all aircraft carrier, submarine and surface vessel classes. Work will take place in Philadelphia.
“McKean engineers and analysts have supported this work since the early days of our company,†said Joseph Carlini, CEO at McKean Defense.
The company intends to hire new engineers, software developers and analysts for work under the contract.
