Matt Mills, former CEO at MapR Technologies, has joined SailPoint Technologies Holdings to serve as chief revenue officer, a role in which he will lead global sales.
He holds 30 years of professional experience, having held leadership roles at firms such as Oracle, where he managed 8K employees and contributed to annual revenues of $4.5B, SailPoint said Tuesday.
The former CEO left MapR in 2018 and was succeeded by John Schroeder, the data technology company’s founder and chairman of the board.
Mills also provides advisory support to software-as-a-service startups.
“I look forward to working with the leadership team to help make SailPoint the go-to cybersecurity and identity governance partner for organizations of all sizes around the world,†Mills said.
SailPoint delivers cloud-based identity management and data access services to government customers.
