LMI has been awarded a prime spot on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Research, Measurement, Assessment, Design and Analysis 2 contract vehicle worth up to $5 billion over five years, the company announced on Wednesday.

LMI is among 17 contractors that will support models and demonstration programs developed by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.

“LMI has a history of success in implementing CMMI models and evaluating ACA payment reform that improve care, lower costs, and better align payment systems to drive value-based care,” said Pat Tamburrino Jr., vice president of LMI’s health and civilian markets. “We look forward to continuing our support to CMS as it innovates to improve the quality of health care for U.S. citizens.”

Under the RMADA 2 contract, LMI has an opportunity to support the contract vehicle scope by bidding on task orders in the areas of model design, implementation, evaluation, and operations; conduct program, data, and environmental analyses; assist with application development and review; monitor model site implementations; design and conduct surveys; report and summarize analyses; and report annual and final program findings.
