Lifeboat Distribution Adds Turbonomic to GSA IT Schedule 70 Vehicle

Lifeboat Distribution has partnered with Turbonomic to offer the latter’s application resource management services through the General Services Administration’s IT Schedule 70 contract vehicle.

The partnership will enable government agencies to automate management capabilities and expedite the adoption of cloud services through Turbonomic’s artificial intelligence-based resource management tool, Lifeboat Distribution said Thursday.

“A particular challenge is managing the transition to hybrid, multi-cloud or containers, as it’s not as simple with continuously evolving technologies and siloed teams and tools,” said Dale Foster, president at Lifeboat Distribution. “Now we can provide critical guidance to our government clients, who can enjoy increased access to Turbonomic.”

Lifeboat Distribution offers data management, cloud computing, software life cycle and virtualization services while Turbonomic provides cloud modernization and support efforts for Google’s Kubernetes system.
