L3Harris Technologies has unveiled a new robotic tool designed to support security operations in constrained and urban areas. Its T4 medium-sized robot is geared to aid in operations concerning hazardous material cleanup, explosive ordnance disposal and special weapons and tactics, the company said Tuesday.

The compact, ruggedized robot features an integrated controller interface to facilitate command and control for operators. T4’s attachments also allow for the use of sensors, disruptors and other tools to address varying mission needs.

L3Harris is exhibiting and demonstrating the T4 prototype at the DSEI 2019 event that ends on Friday, Sept. 13.
