Kratos Defense and Security Solutions has secured a five-year, $35 million firm-fixed-price contract to deliver spare parts for a subscale aerial target unit used by the U.S. Air Force. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center awarded the contract via a sole-source acquisition process, Kratos said Thursday.
The service branch will obligate $35,200 from fiscal year 2019 aircraft procurement funds and $185,600 from FY 2019 operations and maintenance funds for the contract. Kratos is scheduled to conclude all tasks by March 30, 2024.
“Kratos looks forward to continuing to support the U.S. Air Force on this important contract and other current and future opportunities,†said Steve Fendley, president of Kratos’ unmanned systems segment.
