International Enterprises Inc. has received a five-year, $85.7 million requirements contract to repair the digital display indicator system of the U.S. Navy’s F/A-18 fighter and attack aircraft.
According to a Department of Defense notice posted Thursday, the company will perform 99 percent of work in Talladega, Ala., and the remaining fraction in Israel through September 2024. The Navy will provide an initial amount of $2.5 million in fiscal 2019 funds allotted for annual working capital.
Naval Supply Systems Command issued the sole-source contract. IEI provides and sustains electronic systems for the U.S. military and logistics partners.
