The Joint Authorization Board has selected McAfee, Oracle, Salesforce and VMWare to receive prioritization under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program.
FedRAMP said Tuesday that the companies’ respective government cloud platforms will be subjected to the FedRAMP Connect initiative towards achieving provisional authority to operate. The FedRAMP Connect allows cloud service providers to attain P-ATOs through prioritization criteria.
McAfee MVISION Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Salesforce Government Cloud and VMware Cloud on Amazon Web Services GovCloud compose the latest wave of FedRAMP Connect recipients. MVISION is designed to manage cloud access security for data protection, and OCI provides a suite of services to help users run cloud-based applications.
Salesforce Government Cloud allows public sector entities to streamline workflows and facilitate internal and external communication via an integrated platform. Lastly, VMware Cloud is an integrated platform that works to help organizations migrate assets to cloud.
