The Defense Health Agency requests input on the implementation of enterprise information technology services across the Department of Defense’s electronic health record. DHA’s Deputy Assistant Director Information Operations/J-6 aims to implement a standardized infrastructure for an EHR compliant with cost and efficiency requirements, the agency said Monday in a FedBizOpps notice.

This modernized EHR will use a data communications network and enterprise services infrastructure to support 8.6 million users and its infrastructure will consist of server hosting, end-user services and data centers.

The effort seeks to standardize DHA’s IT delivery processes, measure progress and continuously optimize operations. Interested parties may submit responses through Sept. 30.
