DataPath has incorporated an Optimal Satcom-built software tool into its MaxView Enterprise network management software to equip the latter with automated satellite capacity and ground network configuration features.
The Enterprise Capacity Manager is developed to design networks, form transmission strategies, create link budgets and validate leased and available capacity, DataPath said Friday.
“This integration of capabilities allowed for our customer to efficiently plan, configure, and execute service missions,†said Brad Majeres, chief operating officer at DataPath.
“Automating the execution of transmission plans allows operators to focus more time on the service management,†Majeres added.
MaxView Enterprise works to help users control multi-vendor devices, monitor network status, consolidate platforms and automate complex tasks.
