Carahsoft Technology has been chosen to provide software and related services from eight vendors to the Department of Defense, the U.S. Coast Guard and intelligence communities as part of a potential $820.4M blanket purchase agreement.
DoD’s Enterprise Software Initiative contract vehicle covers asset management products and information technology support in line with requirements under the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act, Carahsoft said Wednesday.
The Pentagon announced its selection of awardees for the 10-year BPA last week. Ordering period will run through July 14, 2029.
“Carahsoft is proud to support the DoD and intelligence sector,†said Craig Abod, president of Carahsoft and 2019 Wash100 Award recipient, who also said that the BPA will help simplify procurement for the defense and intelligence sectors in addition to ensuring the protection of critical data and IT assets.
