BlackHorse Solutions has received a $48.8M contract to produce cyber defense software and hardware prototypes for Air Force Research Laboratory.
The company will work to develop electronic warfare and cyber network attack systems as well as provide associated analytical processing, testing and project management, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Work under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract will take place in Herndon, Va., through Sept. 9.
AFRL launched a competition for the contract and received two proposals.
The U.S. Air Force initially obligates an amount of $300K taken from fiscal 2019 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
