BAE Obtains CMMI Maturity Level 3 Rating; Rick Allen Quoted

BAE Systems’ information and security segment has been appraised at Maturity Level 3 under the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration framework for the company’s service delivery and processes.

The CMMI Maturity Level 3 designation indicates that BAE’s processes, methods and tools are understood and “well-characterized,” the company said Tuesday.

“Our disciplined execution and customer focused solutions will continue to set the standard how for large-scale systems engineering, integration, and sustainment services are created,” said Rick Allen, strategic systems director at BAE’s Air Force solutions business.

The CMMI framework seeks to provide organizations with practices that will enable them to augment their processes.
