Alex Sutherland, a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, has joined Liberty IT Solutions as Salesforce practice director.

Sutherland also works with Salesforce as an advisor to guide partner companies under the Salesforce’s Accelerate initiative, Liberty IT said Tuesday. In addition, he was the Salesforce solutions lead architect at MIL and served as an innovation lead at the Air Force’s Kessel Run project.

“With a passion for innovation, his work with Veterans, and expertise in leading Salesforce development teams to success for customers across industries, Alex is uniquely qualified to lead this key growth area for Liberty,” said Bill Greene, president and CEO at Liberty IT.
