L3Harris Technologies has added TRX Systems to the former’s association of public safety technology vendors. The group, known as the L3Harris Mission Critical Alliance, works to boost the functionality, interoperability and security of mission technologies, TRX Systems said Tuesday.

L3Harris MCA members identify and assess ways to increase technology synergy in support of needs across federal, state and local public safety efforts. Members of the consortium are also providers of products and services that support L3Harris’ radio systems and core network.

TRX offers the NEON Location Service, which works to provide 3D situational awareness in environments denied of global positioning system coverage. The service uses sensor-based, available mapping and radio frequency data to determine the user’s 3D location.
