Six firms have landed spots on a five-year, $45M contract for construction services in support of the U.S. Navy. The companies will construct, renovate, demolish, roof and repair various infrastructure and facilities within Naval Support Activity’s Mid-South area of responsibility, the Department of Defense said Thursday. Signature Renovations received the contract’s initial task order, valued at $234.8K, for work in Millington, Tenn., through February 2020.

Work under the contract as a whole will run through August 2024. The Navy initially obligates funds allotted for fiscal 2019 operation and maintenance activities. Naval Facilities Engineering Command launched an online competition for the contract and received 19 proposals.

The five other contractors are:

  • Butt Construction
  • CORE Engineering and Construction
  • Healtheon
  • OAC Action Construction
  • Optimum Construction
