Semantic AI has hired Sally Kenyon Grant, Neal Harper and Thomas Jurewicz to take leadership roles to support the firm’s efforts to drive growth in the cyber, cloud and government market areas. Kenyon will serve as vice president while Harper and Jurewicz will take on the respective roles of business development director and chief financial officer, Semantic AI said Tuesday.

Richard Harrison, the company’s CEO, noted that the three appointees will help lead the firm as it launches its Cortex enterprise intelligence platform to support government and industry customers. Previously, Kenyon served as vice president at Point3 Security and cybersecurity director of Comtech Telecommunications’ command and control technologies business.

She brings over 25 years of experience and spent time in leadership roles at the Department of Commerce, National Institutes of Standards and Technology and Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development. Harper was most recently the CEO and managing partner at information technology firm Digital Armor and will oversee Semantic AI’s enterprise intelligence for government and defense portfolio.

His more than 25-year experience in program management and enterprise system sales includes time with the U.S. Navy, Central Command and an Air Force research and development entity. Jurewicz was the vice president of finance of Google’s cloud department from 2016 to 2019 and previously worked at VMWare and NETCOM. He also held a position on the board of ModSys International.
