Serco has won a spot on the U.S. Navy’s potential 10-year, $2.45B contract to integrate command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems onto a range of ship classes.
The contract, which has a five-year base period and one five-year option, will support the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command and include task orders for installation services, engineering design and program management for C4ISR integration activities on vessels such as submarines, surface combatants and aircraft carriers, Serco said Monday.
In addition, the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award will cover system modernization activities and other C4ISR installation work in various U.S. and international locations.
Dave Dacquino, CEO and chairman at Serco, said the company has provided services NAVWAR programs for the past 28 years and is looking forward to continuing its support for the Navy’s ships and submarines. The Navy issued the contract in July and awarded spots to six firms including Huntington Ingalls Industries and General Dynamics.
