Leonardo DRS Unveils New San Diego Site; Timothy Day Quoted

Leonardo DRS’ DRS Daylight Solutions business opened a new facility in San Diego that will work to accommodate the development of laser-based offerings. The three-story facility measures 67,000 square feet and features additional space for laboratories, offices and storage, the company said Wednesday.

Timothy Day, senior vice president of Leonardo DRS’ DRS Daylight Solutions business and Rep. Scott Peters attended the facility’s inaugural ceremony.

“We are excited to be a part of the extraordinary growth of Leonardo DRS, and together with the expanding mission-critical needs of our customers, this new facility will modernize our business to ensure our customers are given the best support for years to come,” said Day.
