AppGuard and Hewlett Packard Enterprise have partnered to offer cyber stack services and technology platforms to the Department of Defense through the Integrated Processor Capacity Services x86 initiative. IPCS-X is a Defense Information Systems Agency initiative led by HPE and seeks to provide DoD with an integrated software and hardware stack in support of its technology efforts, AppGuard said Tuesday.
“By collaborating with AppGuard to leverage its cybersecurity products and expertise in our IPCS-X proposal, we are further enhancing security for DISA in the Host Based Security Services arena with an efficient and battle-tested solution,” said Joe Ayers, vice president and general manager of U.S. public sector at HPE.
The companies will provide the AppGuard Enterprise platform for servers and other technologies through the partnership. AppGuard’s patented inheritance and isolation technology helps prevent malware and isolate system processes from code injection to counter attacks.
