Sudhir Pucha, vice president of information technology at HighPoint Global, wrote in an article that the adoption of IT DevOps processes has resulted in the development of project management portals and other platforms used to facilitate the delivery of services to citizens.
Pucha said project management portals provide DevOps teams a centralized platform to perform maintenance, back up and restore systems, manage software and schedule jobs.
He added that such portals could help improve customer experience and employee experience by allowing IT managers to assess how IT problems affect citizens and monitor service requests, among others.
Pucha also described low-code or no-code development platforms and discussed how such tools promote innovation and experimentation. Other citizen service platforms Pucha mentioned are co-browsing and chat bots.
