Heffler Contracting Group won a potential five-year, $49M contract to alter and refurbish facilities at the U.S. Marine Corps’ Camp Pendleton base in California. Under the contract, the El Cajon, Calif.-based firm will provide design-bid-build services, including construction and repair work for facilities such as office buildings, aircraft control towers, hangars, laboratories and fire stations, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command received six bids for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $5K from the Navy’s fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds for the award. Contract work is slated to take place in Oceanside, Calif., through August 2024.
