David Kim, former principal account executive of Amazon Web Services’ Department of Homeland Security programs, has joined data security software developer CybelAngel as vice president of sales for the Americas, G2Xchange ETC reported Friday.
Kim also served as senior account manager for AWS’ Justice Department portfolio and held business development leadership roles at Citrix and cloud services firm Apprenda. Prior to joining AWS, Kim spent over three years at Microsoft where he oversaw the company’s Department of Defense projects as well as its data center initiatives.
He brings more than 20 years of account management experience spanning cloud computing, virtualization and strategic partnership activities to his new role.
CybelAngel offers software that utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect data leaks and send security alerts across connected devices. The firm has offices in Paris and New York.
