Tom Minichiello, former chief financial officer at Westell Technologies, is set to take the same role at Emcore starting Aug. 26. Mark Gordon will perform his duties as interim principal financial and accounting officer until Minichiello assumes the CFO post, Emcore said Monday.
In addition to his previous capacity, Minichiello held the roles of treasurer, secretary and senior vice president at Westell. The certified public accountant also spent 12 years at Tellabs in various executive financial capabilities.
“Tom’s extensive background in the finance functions of publicly-traded technology companies and his wealth of strategic and operational expertise makes him a natural choice for his new role,†said Jeffrey Rittichier, president and CEO at Emcore.
