ECS Federal will continue to provide computer vision engineering and machine learning services to the U.S. Army under a three-year, $78.7M contract modification. The award extends ECS’ work performance under previously awarded contract through July 16, 2022, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Army Contracting Command obligated $35.8M in fiscal 2018 and fiscal 2019 research, development, test and evaluation funds for the modification. The original cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a face value of $78.8M.
