Cradlepoint will provide its cloud platform to all 50 states under a five-year contract with the National Association of State Procurement Officials. Public safety agencies will gain access to Cradlepoint’s NetCloud Service platform under the NASPO ValuePoint Data Communications Products and Services contract, the company said Monday.
Cradlepoint’s platform will facilitate communications between vehicles, incident response teams, surveillance sensors and other LTE or 5G networked-linked devices. The state of Utah and NASPO ValuePoint launched a competitive solicitation for the contract.
Cradlepoint is among nine contractors under the NASPO ValuePoint Data Communications program.
