Booz Allen Hamilton has ranked first on research and marketing firm Frost & Sullivan’s list of managed and professional security services providers in the U.S. market. It reached an 11.4 percent market share in the U.S. and achieved an 18.3 percent growth from 2017 through 2018, Booz Allen said Thursday.
“The resulting growth of our Commercial Cyber business aptly demonstrates the value we are able to deliver when our government-derived cyber expertise is brought to bear for commercial clients,†said Bill Phelps, executive vice president and head of Booz Allen’s commercial cyber business.
Booz Allen has taken steps to extend its coverage of support to transportation, logistics, health, energy and financial services providers. In 2018, the company received a $1.03B task order to update six government agencies’ cybersecurity capabilities.
