Data Link Solutions, a joint venture between BAE Systems and Collins Aerospace, has received a potential $75M contract modification to update terminals for a multi-service information technology system.
The company will apply a Block II configuration to the low-volume terminals of the Multifunctional Information Distribution System, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
MIDS terminals are designed to help domestic and foreign military customers transmit data and voice communications. Work under the modification will occur in Wayne, N.J., and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, through December 2026. The contracting activity is Naval Information Warfare Systems Command.
