Tyler Technologies has entered a 10-year, $85M agreement with the North Carolina Judicial Branch and the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts to provide software as-a-service offerings that will support the development of a virtual courthouse platform.

It will deliver products under the Odyssey suite to help the North Carolina Judicial Branch build an integrated case management system that will utilize paperless processes, automated workflows, electronic filing and online access, the company said Thursday.

“We look forward to helping North Carolina empower its legal community – including judges, court staff, clerks, district attorneys, public defenders, attorneys, and the public – with tools that will improve all aspects of court case management,” said Rusty Smith, president of Tyler’s courts and justice division.
