Travis Szabo, former director of the Defense Health Agency and the Department of Veterans Affairs programs at Octo Consulting, has been named senior vice president of business development at data analytics company Unissant.
Under his new role, Szabo will build and mature partnerships and core capacities of Unissant’s data management, cloud computing, cybersecurity, analytics and health information technology markets for the Veterans Administration and the DHA, the company said Monday.
Before Octo, Szabo served as vice president of programs for the DHA and the Defense Logistics Agency at Science Applications International and worked at CSC as an account general manager.
“He brings deep experience in Military Health and Health IT, making him a perfect addition to our Growth Team,†said Ken Bonner, president at Unissant.
Szabo completed his collegiate studies at the University of California, San Diego and has been certified as a program management professional at the Program Management Institute.
