SteriTrack has partnered with Microsoft to distribute a cloud-based healthcare device scanning software, which aims to provide immediate information regarding the status of equipment, across government bodies worldwide.

Its Tractus platform updates users on device quality and possible expiration, as well as decreases the time nurses spend recording information during surgery, SteriTrack said Friday.

The software also supports Unique Device Identification compliance, providing necessary analysis, reporting and data transparency functions. The UDI system is designed to standardize traceability and data transparency across devices.

Microsoft Azure’s enterprise technologies work to deliver security and privacy to Tractus users.

Interested organizations may access Tractus via Microsoft Azure.
