The Defense Security Service has recognized two Science Applications International Corp. facilities in Virginia and California as recipients of the Defense Security Service’s 2019 James Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award.
SAIC said Wednesday that the facilities met industrial security review standards and maintained their security program management, oversight and implementation capabilities to receive the awards.
The company noted that the facilities were chosen from 13K cleared nominees and have supported government initiatives in engineering, space systems, cloud computing, cybersecurity and information technology modernization.
“This prestigious award is the result of our employees’ commitment to handling our customers’ sensitive information with care,†said Ron Gembarosky, vice president of security at SAIC.
