PAE Develops Real-Time Status Dashboards to Monitor Air Force Facilities; John Bennett Quoted

Bill Mendelsohn, program manager of civil engineering base maintenance for the U.S. Air Force Academy at PAE, has built digital dashboards that work to show the real-time status of USFA facilities.

The dashboards project information from various datasets through the use of OpsCheck and Microsoft’s PowerBI application, PAE said Monday. Mendelsohn seeks to use the dashboards to help PAE address any concerns at a rapid pace.

According to John Bennett, director of continuous improvement at PAE, the dashboards will be utilized as prototypes for potential tools that will monitor facilities in Kennedy Space Center and Kirtland Air Force Base.

“This example helps strengthen PAE and business development in that it gives us an operational proof in the field rather than a proposal concept,” Bennett added.
