RWG USA and Canadian Commercial Corp., which represents StandardAero, will provide depot-level overhaul services for the U.S. Navy's marine gas turbine engines under a potential five-year, $70M contract.

Both contractors are eligible to compete for individual orders to refurbish the 501-K34 engines used on Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Work will take place in Houston, Texas, and Winnipeg, Canada, through March 2024.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center is the contracting activity for the program.
