Mason Baron, a former chief naval architect at Alion Science and Technology, has joined Digital Harmonic to serve as chief technology officer. He holds 18 years of experience in multiple technical and professional areas including software development, artificial intelligence, surveillance reconnaissance platforms and large team leadership, Digital Harmonic said Monday.
Baron was in charge of naval design efforts for the Minotaur mission system during his time at Alion and led security technology projects at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. His technological contributions include airborne surface search radar and multi-intelligence data fusion.
Digital Harmonic offers media- and signals-based analytics for applications in healthcare, commercial and defense areas.
