Lockheed Martin has received a four-year, $77.7M contract modification to deliver long lead materials, parts and software data loads to support low-rate initial production efforts for lots 12, 13 and 14 of the U.S. Navy’s F-35 Lightning II aircraft fleet.
Performance of work will run through March 2023 and will take place in various locations within the U.S., U.K. and Japan, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The award follows a previously secured $736M modification for the production of lot 13 F-35 units.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate the full value of the modification from international partner funds.
