John Zanni, CEO of cybersecurity company Acronis SCS, told ChannelE2EÂ in an interview published Thursday that the company is focused on serving U.S. public sector agencies by providing them with edge-focused and future-proof backup and recovery platforms.
Zanni cited the company’s primary business goals for the second half of 2019 and one of those is keeping government agencies aware of data security issues.
“Our focus involves making sure agencies have the right future-proof tools to reduce vulnerabilities within their cyber postures and manage an ever-changing threat landscape,†he said. “We will also be launching a new, hardened product for air-gapped environments and a cloud version for state and local governments.â€
Zanni said one of his long-term priorities for Acronis SCS is to serve as a think tank and adviser to Congress on emerging cybersecurity technologies.
“Second, we want to continue to be a veteran supportive company. And finally, we will continue to provide best-in-class edge data security and cyber protection software for the public sector,†he added.
Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Acronis SCS launched as an independent cybersecurity company in April.
