Idemia’s identity and security business in North America, led by Ed Casey, partners with professional sports teams and music festival organizers to help fans register on-site for the Transportation Security Administration’s expedited screening program and get into event venues faster, USA Today reported Friday.
The Reston, Va.-based government contractor manages enrollment in the TSA PreCheck program and seeks to extend availability of its registration service by deploying IdentoGO mobile enrollment RVs to nontraditional sites such as a baseball park.
Boston Red Sox partnered with the company in April to provide a Fast Pass lane at Fenway Park exclusively for PreCheck customers.
Idemia plans to introduce its Trusted Fan program at the sports venue later this year with the goal of improving the fan experience via a mobile application.
