The General Services Administration seeks proposals for the GSA Leasing Support Services Plus contract that will provide for pre- and post-lease services and associated customer engagement.
GSA said Tuesday it expects the GLS Plus contract to generate rent credits worth $129M for tenant agencies and decrease cases of work redundancy to streamline the leasing process.
In December, the contract’s draft solicitation gathered over 200 comments that GSA used to modify GLS Plus to provide brokers with the opportunity to involve themselves earlier in the leasing process for improved interactions with customers.
Changes were also made to areas concerning requirements development, post-award services and fair opportunity.
“We’ve matched industry talent with the government’s strategic real estate goals to create a tool yielding increased savings and an improved customer experience while maximizing utilization of broker capabilities,” said Allison Azevedo, assistant commissioner for leasing at GSA.
Interested firms may submit proposals through Sept. 9.
