The General Services Administration’s Technology Transformation Services division is looking for concepts that can help the agency update the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program’s process for conducting cloud certifications.
GSA said Wednesday the FedRAMP Ideation Challenge will support the GSA FedRAMP program management office in efforts to implement simpler, quicker and more cost-effective procedures for authorizing cloud security capabilities and while ensuring fortified data security and accelerated modernization.
According to a FedBizOpps notice posted Tuesday, GSA encourages academic, security and cloud professionals to share their concepts for revising the FedRAMP model. GSA will accept responses through Aug. 22.
