DSFederal has secured a small business contract to provide information technology services for the National Institutes of Health’s IT Acquisition and Assessment Center.

It will work to support the Department of Health and Human Services’ federal health IT under the 10-year Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 contract vehicle, the company said Thursday. DSFederal brings nine years of health IT expertise to the effort.

The contract provides for critical infrastructure protection and information assurance, CIO support, digital governance, enterprise resource planning, imaging, integration services, IT operations and maintenance, other IT services, outsourcing and software development

IT services under the contract will cover biomedical research, health sciences and healthcare.

The award follows DSFederal’s previous work in support of NIH’s Office of Extramural Research.
