StackRox has received approval from the Department of Homeland Security to offer a container security technology to the U.S. government’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program.
The company said Tuesday agencies can purchase the Kubernetes Security Platform through vendors authorized under the CDM Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense program.
The platform is designed to integrate with Google‘s open-source Kubernetes system and help users build, launch and run security operations throughout the full container lifecyle.
According to StackRox, its offering will work to help government customers manage the deployment of on-premise systems to the cloud through vulnerability management, risk profiling, threat detection, network segmentation, configuration management and visibility functions.
