Dewberry has secured a potential three-year task order to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency manage housing repair and construction projects in the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands.

The company said Wednesday it will oversee the repairs and construction of roughly 600 homes on Saipan and Tinian Islands as well as develop a field office in the CNMI as part of the third task order it received under the Logistics Construction Support Contract.

“We are excited to continue helping the residents of Saipan and the Tinian Islands rebuild after Typhoon Yutu and look forward to helping the islands become more resilient for future storms,” said Joseph Goetz, an associate and senior project manager at Dewberry.

The task order has a one-year base period, followed by two option years, and includes the establishment of a field office in the commonwealth. Dewberry previously helped FEMA assess the agency’s disaster housing plans for the areas affected by natural disasters.
