A joint venture of Gannett Fleming and Dewberry will provide engineering and architectural services to the U.S. Army under a five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Dewberry said Tuesday the contract is one of the four awarded IDIQs with a combined value of $40M and focuses on the design of water conveyance systems, pump stations and other civil work structures within the Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District's area of responsibility.

The IDIQ also covers risk assessment, coastal engineering, planning, environmental surveying and other incidental services.

“Our JV goal is simple: support USACE in the performance of their challenging and expanded mission so they can effectively continue their superb efforts for the 24M plus U.S. citizens residing in the geographical area of the Jacksonville District,” said Tony Buitrago, associate vice president and deputy JV manager at Dewberry.

Work will be performed in Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
