Cubic’s Trafficware business has partnered with the city of Livermore in California to help deliver, install and integrate a traffic management system into intersection traffic controllers across the city.

The company said Thursday it will provide the ATMS Transportation Management System which serves as an internet of things-based repository that uses business intelligence to provide operators with a real-time, 360-degree view of traffic status.

Jeff Spinazze, vice president of business development for Trafficware under Cubic’s transportation systems segment, said the company is looking forward to delivering its traffic management offering to help improve Livermore’s quality of life and ease travel experience.

Cubic has supplied Trafficware ATMS technologies to more than 300 installations and over 50K intersections.
