Cubic“™s Trafficware business has partnered with the city of Livermore in California to help deliver, install and integrate a traffic management system into intersection traffic controllers across the city.
The company said Thursday it will provide the ATMS Transportation Management System which serves as an internet of things-based repository that uses business intelligence to provide operators with a real-time, 360-degree view of traffic status.
Jeff Spinazze, vice president of business development for Trafficware under Cubic“™s transportation systems segment, said the company is looking forward to delivering its traffic management offering to help improve Livermore“™s quality of life and ease travel experience.
Cubic has supplied Trafficware ATMS technologies to more than 300 installations and over 50K intersections.
