Cambridge International Systems will continue to deliver information technology and cybersecurity service to NASA’s Information Resources Directorate in preparation for a lunar mission planned for 2024.
Its personnel will support these activities at Johnson Space Center under the Base Information Technology Security or BITSec contract, the company said Thursday.
The contract provides for administrative, engineering, life sciences, telecommunications and other functions required to support the Texas-based center’s mission systems.
Cambridge assesses system security plans, monitors networks, addresses IT issues, provides cyber threat intelligence services and supports security engineering at JSC.
The company considers boosting IT services in anticipation of changing mission requirements.
NASA named Cambridge BITSec’s prime contractor in 2016.
