CACI International has received a five-year, $34.8M cost-plus-fixed-fee contract from the U.S. Air Force to develop technologies and approaches that will demonstrate and assess the efficiency of virtual infrastructure.
The technologies are expected to validate a virtual platform’s mission assurance, malware analysis capacities as well as verify that web-based mission management functionality can be integrated into the current operating systems, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Contract work is scheduled to run through June 30, 2024 and will occur in Rome, N.Y.
The Air Force Research Laboratory received two bids for the competitively offered contract and obligated $1.1M from fiscal year 2019 funds at the time of award.
