An Alion Science and Technology-built command, control and communications offering has been chosen by U.S. Air Force program AFWERX as a finalist in the FUSION Multi-Domain Operations Showcase, an event that displays technology and concepts of interest to the Air Force.
The Resilient Command, Control and Communications Integrated Solution is designed to allow rapid decision-making, datalink interoperability and application integration functions through the use of open and industry approaches, the company said Tuesday.
Additionally, the tool can run on virtual and physical systems and interface with multi-domain components in the battlefield.
The Air Force seeks to use the event to foster collaborative efforts with government, military, industry and academic partners. AFWERX invited 100 out of 300 nominees to participate in the demonstration.
