The U.S. Air Force has posted a request for information to seek for potential contractors that may assist in the modernization of a global flight information suite used by the Department of Defense, Fedscoop reported Monday.
Tasks of the potential contractor include updating and maintaining all capabilities and applications housed within the. Air Force also requires the awardee to provide 24/7 on-call support services to assist in DoD flight operations worldwide.
According to the FedBizOpps notice, the service branch aims to integrate flight briefing, filing and planning capabilities into the Defense Aeronautical Information Portal.
Interested vendors have until Aug. 2 to submit their responses to the notice.
DAIP employs application test and production operations applications and is designed to run in internet and non-classified internet protocol networks.
