VT Halter Marine has contracted Bronswerk Marine to design and install heating, ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration systems for the U.S. Coast Guard’s polar security cutter program, Marine Executive reported Thursday.
Bronswerk will provide HVAC-R system design and equipment installation services for boiler plant and engine room facilities as part of the agreement.
The company’s Gulf Coast team also intends to hire more personnel to support the PSC effort.
“We are looking forward to partner with VT Halter as a major supplier and to leverage Bronswerk’s experience in this new program,†said Bronswerk CEO Francis Fontaine.
Bronswerk Marine is a Quebec, Canada-based provider of shipyard installation, system engineering and equipment manufacturing services to military and industry customers.
